Looking at the specs, it supports 802.1p priority, so the QoS for the VoIP phone traffic should receive proper prioritization. I realize that it is probably incapable of actually reading the VLAN tag and directing it to the proper port (it's an unmanaged switch afterall)- but it should be able to route the packet based on IP/MAC address instead. Will the Netgear switch route all tagged and untagged packets properly? The switch is also connected to the upstream ProCurve, which is fully aware of VLAN tags and how to route them. Now, let's say I have a computer that is in the native VLAN (untagged) connected to one port of the 5-port Netgear switch and a VoIP phone that is in VLAN 10 connected to a different port on the same 5-port Netgear switch (using a power adapter). I have HP ProCurve managed switches at our core (medium office network) and at a few desktops, I have little 5-port Netgear switches (i.e.
